Welcome to our Australian Dietitians and Australian Nutritionists who love food!
Zoe and Kerrie are university trained dietitians and recognised as Accredited Practising Dietitians and Accredited Nutritionists through the Dietitians Association of Australia. Our dietitians have also trained under The Non-Diet Approach, are Size Inclusive Health Australia certified and have completed various post graduate short courses in psychology based methods. Zoe and Kerrie use a combination of scientific research & training, life experience, compassion and a love of food to help you nurture a healthy relationship with food and body.
Zoe founded Love What You Eat in 2004 with little more than a piece of paper, a pen and a highlighter. Her passion for helping people learn to enjoy all food and manage their health without dieting has resulted in Love What You Eat becoming a busy full-time private practice with her colleague, Kerrie Hill. Zoe is now recognised as one of Australia’s leading dietitians with appearances on 774 ABC Melbourne, Channel 10, 3AW, GOLD FM radio and numerous media contributions including the Herald Sun, Women’s Weekly and Body + Soul.
A love of food is key to Zoe’s success as a dietitian and one of her primary goals is to help people stop dieting and instead, establish a positive relationship with food and their bodies. She takes immense pleasure in seeing people change the way they think about food and health which enables them to enjoy all food and feel more comfortable in their body. To do this, Love What You Eat uses a Health At Every Size (HAES®) and Non-Diet Approach with a combination of life experience, common sense, food awareness (aka mindfulness) and psychology. Zoe is a member of the Size Inclusive Health Australia and HAES community.
Zoe also holds a keen interest in food intolerance and gut issues and this area of nutrition accounts for around half her clientele.
In addition to private consulting, Zoe conducts nutrition seminars and workshops for various workplaces and corporations, something she enjoys immensely.

In June 2013 Zoe created the Love What You Eat Facebook page where she is passionate in providing balanced information on the latest food fads, nutrition topics and practical tips on eating well. The page receives a tremendous response from followers, fuelling her passion for educating the public on food and a non-diet approach to nutrition. Zoe then co-founded The Moderation Movement in November 2014 with counsellor Jodie Arnot, director of Jodie Arnot counselling and Healthy Balance Fitness. The Moderation Movement on Facebook has gathered over 40,000 followers and reinforces Zoe’s belief that a healthy relationship with all food is key to healthy life. Zoe has also organised and run networking meetings for dietitians who work in private practice across Melbourne. She is a lover of wine, bread, cheese and dogs and in her spare time, can usually be found enjoying at least one of these. Zoe and her partner have a golden retriever Bailey and a Ridgeback Maya who bring them much joy and calm.
Zoe has over 19 years experience in private practice.

Kerrie is a self confessed foodie with a passion for nutrition. She relishes the opportunity to show her clients how they too can enjoy the foods they love as part of a healthy diet. Kerrie believes in a non-dieting approach and a healthy relationship with food rather than restrictive and depriving diets (the latter which generally don’t work).
Kerrie can help people of all ages with chronic illnesses such as heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, healthy weight management, coeliac disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome including FODMAP intolerances. For those of you who do not have a chronic illness and who just want to improve your overall health and wellbeing, can also benefit from Kerrie’s enthusiastic approach. She will help you to make sense of all of the confusing nutritional advice that is often found in the media. Kerrie also has experience in the Aged Care system where she helps to improve the food supply and the health and nutrition of each resident.
In her spare time Kerrie loves cooking, exploring Melbourne’s great restaurants and watching her beloved Brisbane Lions play in the AFL.
More than just a great dietitian, Kerrie is also an accomplished food photographer, click here to view photos.
