At Love What You Eat, we now conduct consultations online for these 3 reasons
1. Online consultations work just as well, if not better, than face-to-face. All our clients discovered this during the 2020 and 2021 lockdowns, even those who were initially a little reluctant.
2. With COVID still just as present, it's safer for everybody. It’s also much more convenient and you can stay in the comfort of your own home. No need to travel, no need to get a babysitter, no need to stress about running late and no need to cancel if you're a little unwell.
3. Not having to travel or park saves both time and money. You can also have your consultation in a break at work or straight after work and then you don’t need to take time off.
I feel I need to let you know of progress I have been making lately. I seem to have found, for the first time in my life, that food doesn’t need to control me. I don’t need to finish everything on my plate if I feel full. I don’t need to feel threatened by food. I can go out without worrying that I will need to fill up on ice-creams or cakes while I am out. Yesterday I came home from a brunch with some friends and didn’t feel the need to stop to buy some junk food on the way home. Something that I always had to do.

For teenagers 17 or under, we are unable to accept new clients with an eating disorder diagnosis. Please contact eating Disorders Victoria, The Butterfly Foundation, or an eating disorder organisation in your state or territory.
For teenagers 17 or under who are looking for help with a vegetarian/vegan diet or suspected food intolerance, we just require a parent (or supervising adult) to be present.
You can also organise your appointment by texting either Zoe (0419 585 415) or Kerrie (0407 563 700)
We will get back to you ASAP (usually the same day) and organise your appointment on the spot.
Failure to attend an arranged appointment is unfair to other patients and your practitioner’s time, so please provide 24 business hours notice if you are unable to make a scheduled appointment. For Monday appointments, please let us know by the Friday before hand. Failure to do so will incur a fee of $50 for standard appointments and $85 for initial appointments.
We understand that in exceptional circumstances, this may not be possible, and we are always happy to make exceptions at such times.
While we’d love to help all students, due to the high demand for dietetics placements we can only take people who are currently enrolled in the Masters of Dietetics. Please send requests for observation only placement through the booking enquiry.
